🌟 Shining Bright at Franklin Elementary! 🌟
Students at Franklin Elementary surprised the school board and visitors with a heartfelt performance of “I’m Gonna Let My Light Shine.” And shine they did! These incredible students are not only on the honor roll but are also achieving high scores on state tests. They are true leaders in their school community.

Antonio Shelton is enrolled in the Work-Based Learning Program at McKellar Technology Center, preparing for a career as an Automotive Service Technician. For the past eight months, he has interned at Bill Russell FORD under Mr. Greg Shackelford, gaining hands-on experience in tasks like oil changes, tire services, complex repairs, and safety recalls. Working alongside certified technicians, Antonio has built practical skills, a strong work ethic, and a solid understanding of the automotive industry. Thank you to Bill Russell Ford for allowing him this opportunity!

Students from all local high schools gathered at MUW for the Chamber of Commerce Annual Education Awards Program.
We're incredibly proud to announce that CHS students were recognized for having the Highest GPAs in their grade levels — an outstanding achievement reflecting their hard work and dedication! 💪📚
A special congratulations goes out to our two seniors who were awarded scholarships generously sponsored by local businesses. Your futures are bright! 🌟💼
And last but certainly not least, Mrs. Hattie Petty, our District Teacher of the Year, was named High School Teacher of the Year out of all schools — a well-deserved honor for her passion, leadership, and commitment to excellence in the classroom. 🍎🏆
