📣 Student Spotlight: Tiya Ahmed
Tiya Ahmed, a dedicated student in the Work-Based Learning Program at McKellar Technology Center, is gaining real-world experience as she prepares for a career in Engineering and Construction. 👷♀️💻
Since the beginning of the school year, Tiya has been interning at the I.T. Help Store, where she's developed skills in laptop and desktop repairs, diagnostics, screen and battery replacements, power supply replacement, component-level soldering under a microscope, and even web page design! 🌐🔧

Antonio Shelton is enrolled in the Work-Based Learning Program at McKellar Technology Center, preparing for a career as an Automotive Service Technician. For the past eight months, he has interned at Bill Russell FORD under Mr. Greg Shackelford, gaining hands-on experience in tasks like oil changes, tire services, complex repairs, and safety recalls. Working alongside certified technicians, Antonio has built practical skills, a strong work ethic, and a solid understanding of the automotive industry. Thank you to Bill Russell Ford for allowing him this opportunity!
