🎭🎶 Columbus Middle School drama and choir students had an unforgettable experience at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL from Feb 27-Mar 2! ✨ They participated in the Disney Performing Arts Workshops, where they had the incredible opportunity to work with professional Disney artists on the musical Tangled. 🎤🎬
The workshop concluded with a performance on a Disney stage at the Saratoga Springs Resort, showcasing their hard work and talent. 🌟 Along the way, they were introduced to a wide range of career paths, from artists, actors, and stuntmen to engineers, dancers, ride operators, and more! It was truly a magical adventure that opened their eyes to the endless possibilities in the world of performing arts and beyond. 🏰🎉

Last week, students traveled to MSU to participate in the annual Foreign Language Expo hosted by the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures. Students presented posters based on this year’s theme, Myths and Legends. Congratulations to Lurbin Ramirez, Easton Sime, and Jayden German for placing first for Columbus High School with their board on El Chupacabra! 🏆
Throughout the event, students explored various language and cultural activities led by MSU’s foreign language students and staff, from writing their names in Russian and Japanese to learning about the geography of Central and South America.
