Thank you to Columbus Mayor Stephen Jones for delivering school supplies to Stokes-Beard Elementary School on Monday morning. The supplies were donated by the group "C City Networking."

Sale Elementary hosted "Donuts with Dads and Dudes" this morning.
Students, along with parents/guardians learned about the importance of literacy and how absenteeism can impact grades.
United Faith Center FGBC Overseer Bennie Coleman was the guest speaker. He talked to dads about "The power of showing up. "


The Columbus Municipal School District continues to send its condolences to the family of Braylan Dale. His funeral will be at Columbus High on Saturday at 2:30 PM.

Seven Columbus Middle School students received a "callback" to participate in the Mississippi Junior Thespian Conference, which will be held at CMS on January 31st.

Congratulations to the hardworking CMSD students that competed today in the Lowndes County Spelling Bee.
