A Columbus High football parent meeting will be held April 15th at the CHS gym. The meeting begins at 6 PM.

Columbus Middle School students participated in the State Science Fair.
Three students placed in the event:
3rd Place Earth & Environmental Science—Amiya Magee
3rd Place Physics & Astronomy—Joyce Ayoola
2nd Place Plant Science—Jamocika Moore
Each student received a certificate and ribbon for participating.
The contest was held at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Boonevile on Thursday.

Fairview Elementary students were recognized for their work in the classroom and for making the honor roll.
Parents and guardians, along with the students, were treated to a celebratory breakfast this morning.
CMSD Superintendent Dr. Craig Chapman and CMSD Board of Trustees President Robert Smith helped serve the meal.

Columbus High students Asiah Farmer, Adrianne Craddieth, Aubree Nikole Reed, and Kyler Howard all recently served as a page in the Mississippi Senate. The students learned about the legislative process while running errands for elected leaders and Senate staff. The CHS students took a picture with State Senator Angela Turner-Ford and Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann.
