The Columbus Municipal School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the modified calendar for the 2023-2024 school year.

The CMSD Board of Trustees has approved the new strategic plan for 2022-2027.

Starting immediately, all students from kindergarten through 8th grade must be accompanied by an adult when attending any school event. We will not admit students (K-8) to any events, including football games, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Through the Mississippi Department of Education, students can improve their skills in both math and English Language Arts. Paper provides students with unlimited access 24/7 featuring a live chat with a tutor. This on-demand resource can help students with school assignments ranging from math problems, essays and even resume-writing skills.

Check out what's new at the View! Fairview Elementary School hosted its first career and college day today. At Fairview, we are exposing our students to higher education and various career opportunities. Our students met with members of the military, medical personnel, entrepreneurs, truck drivers, and Columbus Light and Water employees. Fairview Principal Monte Ewing-Johnson knows the importance of exposing students to all avenues to ensure their success.
