Do not use these links to apply for placement in a school – click the link below for information regarding the Lottery for next year. Elementary students needing placement in a school for the current year must report to Brandon Central Services at 2630 McArthur Drive prior to registering as a new student. Students in grades 6-12 may use the new student links below to register for the current year.
2016-2017 Lottery Information (applications now being accepted at Brandon Central Services, 2630 McArthur Drive)
Student registration forms must be completed online. If your student was enrolled in our district last year your school will provide a code for you to use to access data already in the system for your student. Computers will be available for you to use at the school on registration day if needed.
Returning Students
New Students
(For the current school year only – NOT to apply for the 2016-2017 Lottery)
All CMSD school registration will be held on Thursday, July 23rd between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Parents/guardians must bring two (2) proofs of residency (one of which must have been issued within the last 30 days) indicating that both the child and parent reside in the Columbus School District. These proofs may include:
- Mortgage/lease agreement
- Electric, gas, or telephone bill (landline only)
- Driver’s license or voter’s registration card
Please note that the name and address must be the same on BOTH documents.
