The Mississippi School Boards Association presents awards to school boards, board members and superintendents for their diligence in earning school governance training hours during the school year. The Center for Board Development Honor Program awards were presented at the Mississippi School Board Association Fall Leadership Conference. Our Board of Trustees received two awards, the Diploma Circle Honor Award and the Red Apple Attendance Award.
The Diploma Circle Honor Award is presented for a minimum of 120 hours for board-a-whole with no board member with fewer than 24 hours.
Red Apple Attendance Award is based only on total hours for the whole board and is presented to the school board with the highest number of MSBA-approved board training hours earned during the school year.
Together we will!
