Welcome to all those new to Sale Elementary and welcome back to our returning students. We are excited for another great year at Sale! Please consider joining the PTA. Membership forms are available in the office anytime. Dues are $5.00 per family for the entire year.

Membership in the local PTA organization also includes membership in the State and National PTA Organizations. As the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation, National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) reminds our country of its obligations to children and provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools for parents to help their children be successful students.

We had a great fundraising year last year. The PTA was able to purchase a wireless microphone speaker system for the cafetorium, paid costs associated with two author visits to the school, gave each teacher in the school up to $125.00 towards out-of-pocket classroom expenses, provided funds for fieldtrips, and rewarded teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week.

For the upcoming school year, we would like to increase parental involvement in our school. We plan to use the National PTA's Three for Me volumteer program, which asks each parent to volumteer three hours to their child's school. Be looking for more information on how to participate.

Ongoing Fundraising opportunities

• Office Depot - will donate 5% of all purchases to Sale. Our school ID is 70058253
• Targer VISA - will donate a percentage of purchases to Sale
• Box Tops for Education - remember to clip box tops. Shop through their online site to have a percentage of your purchases sent directly to Sale Elementary.
• QSP - go to www.qsp.com and set up an account for your child and designate Sale Elementary as the school you are supporting. Then, ask your friends and family to shop there and Sale will automatically receive a portion of sales.
  

School T-Shirts:
     Show your school spirit and wear your new Sale School T-shirt! Ordering information will be sent home soon with your child's papers. Sale School T-shirts may be worn on Fridays with uniform shorts, pants, or skirts.

PTA Membership: 
  We would like to encourage all parents and teachers to join and support the PTA this year. The class with the highest percentage of membership will receive treats from the PTA. Our membership drive will continue through September to give everyone a chance to join. Join now! You don't want to be left out. Membership dues are $5. (Single or Family)
