Basic Drafting is a beginner's drafting course focusing on the basics of board and CAD drafting. The student will develop the skills needed to create and read basic technical drawings. Emphasis will be placed on manual drafting, blueprint reading, drafting related math, and the terminology used in the industry.

Intermediate Drafting focuses on the CAD skills needed to create technical drawings. Emphasis will be placed on CAD drafting, blueprint reading, drafting related math, and the terminology used in the industry.

Advanced Drafting focuses on the design and drawings required for a single-story home. The student will complete design projects including the creation of portfolio pages, sketches, floor plans, storyboards, models, and oral presentations. Emphasis will be placed on the manual and CAD skills needed to produce architectural details and construction drawings, and the terminology used in residential construction.
