Do you like to see things take shape right before your very eyes? If so, Carpentry I is the course for you.

Carpentry II is an advanced skilled crafts course where students master advanced skills required to build, repair, or renovate houses or commercial buildings. Carpenters are vital to the construction industry. This course introduces construction methods associated with the building industry, including framing, materials, tools, and equipment. Topics include safety, hand/power tool use, site preparation, measurement and layout, footings and foundations, construction framing, and other related topics. Upon completion, students should be able to safely layout and perform basic framing skills with supervision.
