Business Computer Applications: This is one of the level one classes which covers the areas of Document Processing, Basic Internet Concepts, File Management, and Desktop Publishing.

Business Finance and Consumer Technology : This level one class covers units in Internet Concepts, Communications and Presentations, Spreadsheets, Personal Financial Skills, and Accounting Technologies.

Computer Information Technology: Level two class teaches students key concepts in Workplace Skills and Productivity, Computer Systems, Programming, Networking, and Application Integration.

Integrated Computer Technology: This level two class has students exploring business careers, learning web page design, and integrating lessons.

Students enrolled in the Business Computer Technology program have the option to participate in the MT2 (Mississippi Technology Teens) Student Organization. This organization provides leadership and competitive opportunities on the district, state, and national levels.  Click on the "Student Organizations" link for more information on MT2.

 

  • Prerequisites: None for level one classes; both level one classes must be completed before taking the level two classes; all four classes must be completed before a student is considered a completer
  • Grade Levels: 9-12
  • Credits: 1 for each year completed
