Hector Taverez, a 5th grader, at Cook Fine Arts Magnet School, was caught in the act!
He saw a classmate waiting in the rain for his parents to come home. Hector invited the student to come and wait in his home until he contacted the school. He then contacted the school regarding the student asking that the student’s parents be contacted because no one was at home. With this action Hector demonstrated a caring and thoughtful attitude toward another student.
He was recognized at the January 11, 2016 meeting of the Board of Trustees for being “Caught in the Act”.
