Asthma Friendly School Award

As an Asthma Friendly School, Franklin Academy is  supporting the academic success and health of its students by coordinating asthma care, providing training to all school staff on how to manage asthma in a school setting, providing emergency instructions for staff to follow in case of medical emergencies, having policies that allow students to self-carry and administer medications, completing needs assessments as well as implementing wellness and idling policies, implementing pest management programs, and other environmental education that may raise awareness and improve the school setting.
