If you will be employed with the Columbus Municipal School District during the FY 18-19 school year, you will be eligible to participate in the District’s incentive plan. This plan, known as the CMSD’s Teacher Incentive Pay Plan (CMSD TIPP), encourages all staff to focus on meeting and/or exceeding student growth and proficiency targets outlined by the Mississippi Department of Education, accountability system.
To comply with policy GBREB Staff Incentives, you will be required to sign an amendment to your contract at your respective reporting location (school). Your contract amendment will be available between June 19-26, 2018 between the hours of 7:30 am – 3:30 pm. If you are not assigned to a school (i.e. maintenance, grounds, etc.), your contract will be available for signing at Central Office. Central Office staff will see Mrs. Cynthia Jordan for contracts and questions regarding the program. All other employees will contact their school principals or their designee. All contracts must be returned to the principals or designees by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26th.
Disclaimer: Recommendations for non-certified employees for the FY 18-19 school year will be presented to the board on June 20, 2018 at 5:00 pm. All non-certified employees must, also, sign this amendment to be eligible.
