Columbus Municipal School District (CMSD) has received a donation of multi-award winning books for our libraries! Dr. and Mrs. Jagdish and Madhu Sheth donated “Finders Keepers” and the illustrator, Mrs. Smita Turakhia, donated “Es Mio” (a Spanish translation of the aforementioned book). CMSD received 6 copies of “Finders Keepers” and 7 copies of “Es Mio” at a value of $200. Dr. and Mrs. Sheth also donated 2 copies of “India Unveiled,” an award-winning portrait of the people, landscape, and culture of India. It has been acclaimed as the best book of its type in India. Each book is valued at $65. These gifts were all made possible through the Altman Press in Columbus, Georgia. The books will be a definite asset to our elementary, middle school, and high school libraries!
