MAGNOLIA is a statewide consortium that is funded by the Mississippi Legislature. Begun in 1997, it provides online databases for publicly funded K-12 schools, public libraries, community college libraries, and university libraries in Mississippi. It also provides lesson plans for public school teachers using the MAGNOLIA databases. In addition to searching the databases in libraries, you can also access many of the electronic resources, including encyclopedias, science and English references, and periodicals, through MAGNOLIA from your home computer. To visit the MAGNOLIA website: http://library.msstate.edu/magnolia To access from home, select the link called Access Resources from Your Home Computer which is located in the upper right hand corner of the site. The user name can be obtained through the school library. |
