*Suggested Summer Reading List*


The Columbus High School English Teachers have compiled a suggested

summer reading list for ALL CHS students.  They encourage students to

read from the following grade-specific list this summer, and assignments

will be made when school starts in August for the books to be read by

September 7, 2010.  Students can get a head start by reading now!



Incoming 9th Graders - The Secret Life of Bees-Sue Monk Kidd

Incoming 10th Graders - Night-Elie Wiesel


Incoming 11th Graders - Black Boy-Richard Wright


Incoming 12th Graders - Any novel by Jane Austen


12th Grade AP-Things Fall Apart-Achebe
