Franklin Academy, Ms. Gwendolyn McGee of Cook Elementary 2nd Block ELA Class and Mrs. Marilyn Chandler of Sale Elementary ELA Class were honored by the Board of Trustees at the November meeting for their achievement in literacy. CMSD students were recognized at the November board meeting for their above average scores on the Amed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). They include Rick Stewart, Emauyni Hairston, Markesha Seals, Ayanas Gillard, Marvin Andrews, Mya Lee-Dismukes, JR Edwards, Miracle Weston and Ariel Lyons.

Our 2019 Student Appreciation Celebration was moved inside because of rainy weather. Regardless of the weather it was a lot of fun!
Ms. Chandler’s class and Ms. McGee’s class from Sale Elementary each had 90% or more of the students in each of the classes met their reading goals with at least 85% accuracy.
